With the launch of a new carbon platform for the maritime industry, Clarksons can enable its clients to further reduce the carbon footprint of their shipping activity. The platform provides seamless access to trusted carbon calculations and offsetting options through certified, high-impact climate projects.

Organisations participating in the CHOOOSE platform can access a company portal to review monthly emissions reports, view detailed order history and analysis, access in-depth project content and track their company's cumulative impact.

The platform enables organisations to support carbon mitigation projects that either reduce, capture, or avoid carbon emissions. The projects are selected by carbon professionals and verified by the most comprehensive certification standards, such as the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and the Gold Standard. All projects also support multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals.
